Product Description Livingston Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of thirteen, beginning a forty-year career in performance, songwriting and teaching. Born in Boston and raised in North Carolina, Livingston is the fourth child in a very musical family. Livingston recorded his first record at 18 and has continued to create well-crafted, introspective and original songs that have earned him listeners worldwide. Last Alaska Moon is the latest addition to Livingston's catalog featuring musicians whom Taylor calls "the best on the planet," among them, Steve Gadd, Leland Sklar, and Vince Gill.

| Customer Reviews: Terrific new album! May 24, 2010 jsporn 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Livingston Taylor's new album is truly amazing. Taylor works with an all-star cast of musicians, including bassist Leland Sklar; drummer Steve Gadd; guitarists Vince Gill, Chris Rodriguez, and J.T. Corenflos and keyboard ace Shane Keister to create a very fun, eclectic, and pleasing new record. This album really demonstrates Taylor's skill at playing music ranging from jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, folk and more. He even utterly reinvents Michael Jackson's "The Girl is Mine", complete with a duet from Ben Taylor. Last Alaska Moon is one of my favorite Livingston Taylor albums, maybe even his best since 1971's "Liv." If you're a fan of Livingston Taylor, or even if you're not and just enjoy simple, great American folk songs, this album is terrific catch.
Liv Taylor is great... August 11, 2010 GAP (Ohio, USA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Liv's new album is not as good as the first one, but it is classic Liv Taylor. Some of the songs were good, but most were too much like his first one. However, I am still a Liv Taylor fan.
