Kenai Red salmon are plentiful during the runs.  Usually beginning the third week of June.  This can vary somewhat depending on weather/water temperatures.  Too exciting.

Zach lands a big one on the Kashwitna river, north of Anchorage.
This fall Dolly Varden fell for the TAFlesh fly we were using to attract rainbows.  Location was the Talkeetna River, Alaska.  Large Dollies are not uncommon but are protected in some waters
