Little Susitna River, Alaska

The Little Su River Coho Salmon (Silver) are considered to be the most lively of salmon.  Arial acrobatics are considered the norm.  On a fly these fish are absolutely the most fun of all.

The Little Susitna River weir is located about one-half mile upstream of the Parks highway bridge. Salmon fishing is closed upstream of the Parks highway bridge, so the weir counts indicate the number of fish getting past the sport fishery
